  • It's LiFePO4 with the advantages of high temperature resistance, strong safety stability, and better circulation performance.

  • It is rated for 4000 full charge cycles, at that point you will have about 70% of your original capacity, and it will gradually reduce from there. 
    ( it's not to say the battery only has 4000 cycle life span. Among 4000 cycles, the unit can exert its best performance. It would not perform its best after 4000 cycles because of internal wastage.)

  • You can plug in Jackery 80W/100W solar panel to charge the Explorer 2000 Plus.

  • It has a unique silent charging mode with a maximum noise of up to 30DB(like in a library) and it will take 4.5 hours to fully charge the power station with AC adapter

Perfect so far. One annoyance

We bought this mainly to cope with power-outages. We live on a farm, and when the power goes out our household pressure-pump doesn't work, so we lose water as well - something we've put up with for decades. Pumps draw a lot of current on startup, so it was important for us that whatever we bought coped. After much research I settled on the 2000 Plus because of its 3000w/6000w surge specification. It works. Fantastic. For the record, our pump has a rated draw of 550w @ 230v, but a "locked rotor" draw of 2800w.

Annoyance: Solar panel compatibility. There's a dearth of information from Jackery website beyond a warning that using third-party panels may void warranty. And, the Solar Saga 200w panel is not available here. And, when you ask, they don't know. This is a minor disappointment given our intended use, but really, what is going on?
