  • What is the battery type of the product?

    It's LiFePO4 with the advantages of high temperature resistance, strong safety stability, and better circulation performance.

  • Does the product support capacity expansion?

    Yes, the Explorer 2000 Plus can be expanded up to 12kWh (with 5 extra battery packs sold separately).

  • Does it support pass-through charging?

    Yes, the Explorer 2000 Plus supports pass-through charging and it won't cause any damage to the battery life.

  • What is the life expectancy?

    It is rated for 4000 full charge cycles, at that point you will have about 70% of your original capacity, and it will gradually reduce from there. 
    (it's not to say the battery only has 4000 cycle life span. Among 4000 cycles, the unit can exert its best performance. It would not perform its best after 4000 cycles because of internal wastage.)

  • Does it make noise when charging? What is the noise level?

    It has a unique silent charging mode with a maximum noise of up to 30db (like in a library).

  • Does it support APP connection to control charging?

  • How long is the standby?

    30% of the power stored for 1 year can still be left with 20% or more.

  • What type of solar panel is compatible with the Explorer 2000 Plus?

    Jackery SolarSaga 200W/100W/80W solar panels are compatible with the Explorer 2000 Plus. However, please use only one type of solar panel at a time, as mixing panels with different power ratings can reduce efficiency, create system imbalances, and potentially damage the equipment.

  • Can I use other brands' solar panels to recharge the Explorer 2000 Plus?

    We strongly do not recommend using other solar panel brands to recharge Jackery power station products since we cannot guarantee other brand quality and provide an after-sale service - for instance if damaged through using other company's solar panel brands.

  • What is the maximum number of solar panels that can be connected to the Explorer 2000 Plus?

    Up to 6 solar panels can be connected simultaneously to charge the Explorer 2000 Plus. The Solar Generator 2000 Plus takes just 2.5 hours for a full solar charge (with 6 SolarSaga 200W solar panels).

  • How long is the warranty?

    For Explorer 2000 Plus / Battery Pack 2000 Plus / SolarSaga 200W: We offer a 3-year warranty purchased through all officially recognized sales channels. For orders placed on the Jackery official website, an additional 2-year warranty is automatically provided, bringing the total warranty period to 5 years (including the 2-year extension).

Great machine

There are annoying power outages on our farm, so we bought a Jackery 2000 Plus to cope with this situation. Super quiet compared to my Generac generator. With 3000w/6000w surge it can pretty much power all the things. Works perfect with our pump and weeder. Hope they can bring the 200w panel to Australia too.

I started vanlife camping 5 years ago and heard of Jackery through a vanlife Youtuber. I purchased the Explorer 240 in 2020, and another for spare use the next year. Great tools for charging my small fridge and camping lights. It's amazing that after 4 years of 24/7 using with 2 models in turn they can still be fully charged and work well. Just purchased a new 2000 Plus for my house. Much bigger in size compared with my old little 240 but also well-designed all like Jackery products. Highly recommend if you are looking for safe products and the a-list brand in Australia.

We purchased the Jackery 2000 Plus solar power station in December 2023. After many months of reviewing and comparing models and brands, the Jackery 2000 Plus was the standout choice for us. The key features we like are the large battery capacity, 3000 watt inverter, long cycle life, quick recharge via multiple sources, expandable battery, the unit is capable to be transported easily via wheels and retractable handle and importantly, the ability to power a significant amount of appliances. The Jackery 2000 Plus was delivered within 48 hours of ordering, it was well packaged and came with easy to follow instructions. We intend to use the Jackery 2000 Plus during our camping travels. We really like how robust the unit is and how easy it is to use.
