Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station

The E500 Pro Jacker Explorer Power Station provides 500W of continuous power, which can handle short surges up to 1000W, for those surge appliances such as a small esky refrigerator/freezer. It has a front AC outlets with a pure sine wave perfect for long-term care of sensitive devices such as computers and other electronics. It has a DC input for charging with a solar panel, or for charging from a vehicle‘s 12V outlet with the adapter. Alternatively, the wall charger can also charge the unit from the same port. It also provides 3x USB slots, a 12V 10A socket outlet with 2 more 12V plug outlets, and a side torch light. Features a compact, modern, lightweight, sleek design with an informative display for ease of reading capacity and charging status. Jackery Australia appears to have recently stepped up their customer support and service in Australia for Jackery units. While this unit can retain battery charge for some time when sitting unused, I would personally recommend to mark your calendars to remember to charge the unit 3 times per year if sitting unused. It is very easy to do, and will help to preserve the longevity of the unit even beyond warranty.

It arrived only a few days from ordering on Amazon AU. We have had several power outages the last few months and after reading so many fantastic reviews about the Jackery range of Portable Power Stations that can also be recharged via a solar panel, a car charger and electricity, making them always ready to use when needed. Initially I wanted one each of the 500, the 240 and the solar 100 panel which works for all the models. There were no 500 models in stock so I put the 240 and solar panel in my wishlist and for a week I kept checking if the 500 model was available so I could order them together which they were still sold out and the 240 model was down to only one left in stock, so I ordered it with the solar panel. then finally 2 weeks later I see the 500 model and I bought it, the same day they were sold out again. These are so popular, useful, great quality and portable . My 500 came with 35% charge and only took 3.5 hours more to fully charge it ready for next use. The only required maintenance is to charge them if not being used approx every 3 months . Very quiet to run also and I am not dreading the power going out as much now that I have these units for back up . Don‘t hesitate to buy , they sell out very fast .
