Lane Poole camping is the best place to go if you want a fantastic camping trip. But before you decide, here are some things you should know.

Instructions that apply to all eight campsites:

• Dogs are welcome, but they need to be on a lead.
• There is no drinking water available. Getting rainwater in the campground is possible, but it's only sometimes available, and there's no promise it's safe.
• Dining shed with a gas grill and a rainwater sink that isn't heated (may only be available some years).
• Picnic tables, chairs, and fire rings at every scamp.
• There is no power in any of the sites.
• You can only use a generator at all sites from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Usually, bonfires can only be used from April to November and only in the given fire rings.
• It can get boiling from December to April, and there is a good chance of bushfires. And it can get cold at night from June to September. From May to October, storms happen a lot in the area.
• Putting down trash is prohibited; it must be taken away and thrown at a legal dump.

1. Baden Powell

Forty-two spots in Baden Powell are big enough for groups and trucks. Thirty-six sites are only suitable for tents, and six sites are good for caravans and camper trailers. Every site has a fire pit, and sites with only tents have wooden picnic tables.

The camp has three covered kitchens, each with a gas grill, sink, table, seats, and a collection tank for rainwater that can't be drunk. This campsite is so handy that it's great for family trips. There are also four cabins, a camp kitchen, and a toilet that are all wheelchair accessible.

Baden Powell is beautiful, with lots of greenery and unique natural features. You can spend your time in peace enjoying the beauty of nature.

2. Charlies Flat

Charlie's Flat is an adventure park with 16 campsites beside the Murray River. Four spots are suitable for small camping trailers or caravans. There are fire pits, picnic tables, benches, and eco-toilets.

People also like to use Charlie's Flat during the day because it has eating tables. You can engage in wilderness camping, setting up your campsite in a remote location entirely encircled by towering trees.

3. Tonys Bend

Tony's Bend is an excellent spot for families who want to spend time in the middle of nowhere. These spots are out of the way and have easy access to the river through trees. You can also stay in one of the smaller campgrounds at Tony's Bend. It has 13 campsites in beautiful, private places along the Murray River.

There are eight sites for small tents (3m x 2.5m). There are three sites for oversized tents, and for caravans or camper trailers, there are two sites. There is a grill, picnic tables, and benches at each spot. You can do many things when you camp at Tony's Bend, but the most popular ones are canoeing, fishing, and swimming.

4. Yarragil

This campsite is the tiniest in the Line Pool Reserve, with only two sites. It is also the very quietest. There is no better place to spend significant time alone with your family than this. It could be better for big groups or cars.

Yarragir is an excellent place for swimmers and canoeists alike. Canoeists can start their 11.5-kilometer trip here to Nanga Road Bridge. It's fun to swim in Yarragir on a warm day. Just follow the steps that lead down to the water. During certain times of the year, you can have bonfires and eat fish over them.

You'll get chills when you step into the rough seas of Aragriel; it might be the most exciting thing you've ever done. The wilderness and beautiful views will take your breath away as you drive down. No matter what Aragir brings you, enjoy it.

5. Stringers

Stringers has several private spots right next to the Murray River, where you can camp peacefully and secluded. This park only lets people with tents stay, not RVs or campers.

There are only six tent spots, and during the busy season, campfires are allowed. There are three spots for 3m x 2.5m tents and three for 10m x 10m. Pop-up campers and tents can't be parked here. There are fire pits, picnic tables, and benches at each spot. Stringer can also put eco-toilets and boats on the river.

Stringer is a small campsite in Jarrah forest, beside the Murray River. It has lovely views, is mostly quiet, and is private. The sites here offer both peacefulness and stunning natural beauty. Stringer's Night is lovely. Over the river, you can see the dark sky and the stars. It's like sleeping in the woods when you camp in Stingus.

This camp is known for having calm nights and fun, exciting days. You can do anything you want here during the day: swim, boat, hike, mountain bike, or fish. This is the place to go for the best camping adventure ever.

6. Chuditch

Another great place for families to camp in Lane Poole Reserve is Chuditch. However, it could be better for big groups. There are 24 spots: 14 for tents, and the other ten can fit a small caravan or camper trailer. The campsite has everything you need for a pleasant stay. A covered camp kitchen, a gas grill, picnic tables, benches, and toilets can be found at the spot. But you can't have a bonfire here.

Compared to some other campgrounds, this one is farther from the river. However, there is an easy trail that goes to the river. This short path leads to the Murray River, where you can swim, boat, or fish. The redfin perch, cobbler, maroon, and rainbow trout are tasty fish that are easy to catch. This is an excellent place for people who love swimming.

7. Nanga Mill & Nanga Townsite

Nanga Mill is an open park that has yet to have designated sites. You can set up your tent anywhere in the trees. You don't have to back up because they can be driven in and out. There are also eight large tent campsites with a maximum built-up space of 6m x 4m, perfect for groups of people.
